One of the most spectacular boneyard beaches lies at the south end of Hunting Island State Park, SC. Accessible via an 0.7 mile hike along a trail from the Nature Center, the broad beach is littered with numerous large and dramatic fallen tree skeletons. An abandoned cabin on pilings stands in the ocean, adding mystery to the location. There is an entry fee for use of the park.
